A trial run

This is the first time that I am going to attempt to keep my own blog, even though I have written many blog posts for others.

I’m not sure how often I’m going to post. I’m not sure if anyone will read it. I am sure that I’m going to learn a lot from it and if anyone does read it hopefully it will allow me to highlight some of the people and ventures I find most inspiring in the charity sector and beyond.

Inside the charity sector, where I work, I have a particular interest in Governance, leadership, collaboration and technology.

Outside it I have a particular interest in politics, travel, food, wine, beer, sport, philosophy and coffee, in no particular order.

I’m insatiably curious about the world and want to keep on discovering as much about it as I can.

I’ll round off this first post with a quote I like:
