As some of you will know, I am now the Assistant Editor and Social Media Manager at Good News Shared.
Our website launched last week and we have been thrilled at the great response so far.
So, what is Good News Shared?
At Good News Shared, we want to share positive stories about people and organisations, adding a bit of colour to everyone’s day.
The Founder of Good News Shared, Nisha Kotecha, and her team, feel that sometimes it is only negative stories that make it into the mainstream media, and that every piece of amazing charitable work that is happening, deserves its place in the spotlight. You can learn more here about the idea behind Good News Shared.
What is on the Good News Shared site so far?
We are happy to feature stories from over the world and our articles posted since launch have a really international flavour. Some of our current stories are:
– One man’s inspiring solution for his depression.
– Shaan, who has cystic fibrosis and loves making films.
– Some great work by JCI Sheffield and Razzamataz Theatre School providing Easter eggs for children in hospital.
– Lives of ‘Untouchable’ women, being changed in rural India.
How can we at Good News Shared help you/your organisation and how can you get involved?
We want to help share your inspiring stories, so if you have something that you think deserves more attention, please get in touch. We also need volunteers to help put the articles together and generally help us promote the site.
