The brilliant Stepney City Farm needs your help!

Friends, I would like to urge you to donate to the amazing Stepney City Farm via this crowdfunding project (don’t worry, I’ve put my money where my mouth is and made a small donation).

The Farm is one of my favourite things in London and has given me some of my happiest memories while living here. They include- visiting the pigs, my favourite animal, for my 30^th birthday and seeing the donkeys being brought out of the farm when the Olympic torch passed us by!

Frankly, I think it is outrageous that they need to bring in this money to stay open. They are the most incredible resource for the local community. The Farm is run by a brilliant group of people, including Trustees and other volunteers.  An incredible amount of things happen at the Farm, including a Farmer’s Market, school visits, beekeeping, courses and workshops, corporate volunteering, environmental initiatives, the list goes on and on.

They are also really worth a follow on social media- their Twitter account is full of things that will brighten up your day.

If you love East London, farms, good causes or all three, you need to take a look.  Please, dig deep and spread the word!
