A petition worth signing- by Jack Monroe on food poverty

I hope readers of my blog will know the inspirational and always worth listening to Jack Monroe, who runs an extremely popular blog on eating well on a very tight budget and issues around food poverty.

She has set up a petition on change.org which calls for a Parliamentary Debate on UK Hunger and food bank use. Please sign!

The hashtag is #jackspetition

In a previous post I wrote about fuel poverty and how shameful it is for our country. I feel the same about food poverty.  The petition currently has more than 140,000 supporters, which is amazing, but I am sure there are many more people who would like to show that this is an issue that they care about.
