21st September is Peace Day – an annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence. Peace Day is an opportunity for UN agencies and NGOs to focus their ongoing life-saving activities within a global context.

4.5 million children have benefited from Polio immunisations as a result of Peace Day agreements in Afghanistan since 2007.

Rotaractors and Rotarians across the world have been involved in various activities to support Peace Day.
